Part-time Mail Delivery Driver
$27.17 per hour + $6.20 per hour in fringe benefit (401k or health insurance) = $33.37
We have an open part-time position working for a Postal Contractor in Wynantskill, NY.
Current open position would be approx. 26 hours per week, split shift with an early morning run and an afternoon run.
The hours are:
Mon to Sat AM 5:50 to 8:50……….3 hours
Mon, Tue and Fri PM 4:00 to 6:00……….2 hours
Sat PM 3:30 to 5:30…….….2 hours
Total weekly hours: 26
We deliver bulk mail, mostly in wheeled containers, from Wynantskill to other rural Post Offices on a regular route schedule (NO HOME DELIVERY).
Class D and box truck driving experience is helpful. Must be able to pass USPS security screening, have a clean MVR (some violations OK) and pass pre‐ employment drug screening (including Marijuana). Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds (not that often). Must have a DOT physical card or be able to obtain one.
