Fulltime Driver
Pay: $27.17 + $5.76 fringe benefits (towards 401k or health insurance) = $32.93 an hour
Permanent fulltime position working for a Postal Contractor in Albany, NY.
Current open position is an afternoon position going from Albany to Maryland, NY.
The hours are:
Mon to Fri PM 2:15 to 7:30 …. 5.25
Saturday PM 3:15 to 7:15.......4
Total weekly hours = 30.25 hours
We deliver bulk mail, mostly in wheeled containers, from Albany to Maryland on a regular route schedule (NO HOME DELIVERY).
Class D and box truck driving experience is helpful. Must be able to pass USPS security screening, have a clean MVR (some violations OK) and pass pre‐ employment drug screening (including Marijuana). Must be able to lift to 70 pounds (not that often). Must have a DOT physical card or be able to obtain one.
