Responsibilities and Duties: Service Technician / Installer

Follow installation and service schedules as determined by the office.
Install Invisible Fence Brand Solutions including laying wire, mounting equipment, flag the property, reviewing the installation with the customer and conduct safe dog training with their cat(s) or dog(s).
Service existing solutions -- i.e. identify problems and making necessary repair.
Prepare customer invoices and collects payment at the time of service.
Complete all jobs with proper paperwork or mobile application entries, including serial numbers, work completed, method of payment and immediate action from here.
Obtain inventory for jobs on a daily/weekly basis.
Complete a vehicle/equipment maintenance form on a weekly basis.
Inventory on hand gets recorded to the Service Manager on a weekly basis.
Clean company van/truck weekly and maintains all equipment.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Job Description/Salary Details: Service Technician / Installer

Training Salary $15/hr - Approximately 30 days of training needed.
Approximately 36.5 - 50 hours/week, at least two Saturdays per month.
Upon meeting necessary requirements, eligible for pay raise to $18/hr. Additional pay raise after initial 3 months (subject to conditions of improvement).
Incentive Programs/Commissions will allow you to be in control of additional earning potential. Matching IRA offered after 2 years with the company.
Company truck provided for work (not to be used as personal vehicle).
Company attire provided.
Close proximity to Galway, NY (15 miles) preferred.
You will need to arrive 30 min-1 hour prior to the first appointment, which typically starts between 8-9am, to prepare the van for the day and account for travel to first job of the day.
Qualifications and Skills : Service Technician / Installer

Sprinkler system installation, Solar Power System Installation, Landscaping, cable/electric, dog-related experiences are very helpful but not a prerequisite.

Non-Negotiable Requirements: Service Technician / Installer

Must be able to complete the following (Non-Negotiable)

Speak English
Arrive at the correct location (address) using GPS
Arrive On Time
Arrive in Correct Uniform (Uniform is CLEAN)
Arrive clean with a neat appearance.
Have a clean driving record and reliable vehicle to get to the office.
Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will result in immediate termination.
Additional Requirements: Service Technician / Installer

Physically fit. Job is demanding at times and requires you to work in hot and cold temperatures.
Must be able to operate and maintain all equipment:Trencher, STIHL Saw, drill,programmer and wire finder. Any lost equipment will be replaced at employee's expense.
Must follow Instructions - * Attention to Detail*. Get the job done correctly the first time. No compensation for doing the same job twice due to employee error.
Good Common Sense.
Can Communicate Effectively (will need to communicate with clients on daily basis)
Basic understanding of simple (electrical) circuits preferred.
Responsible for initial training for new clients - train dog(and people) to system (we will walk you through this) and send you for in-depth pet training after being with the company for 6 months.
Basic knowledge technology. You will be provided with an IPhone that will have company software program which will be utilized daily.
Military background a plus but not necessary.
