Commercial Carpenter – Interior Fit-Ups (Albany Area) – $25–$45/hr
Established Commercial Contractor seeking experienced Commercial Carpenter for interior renovation and fit-up projects in the Albany / Capital Region area.
Position Requirements:
• Steel stud framing (layout, walls, soffits, blocking)
• Wood framing as needed
• Ability to read and interpret commercial plans
• Drywall hanging and finishing (taping experience preferred)
• Install commercial doors, hollow metal frames & hardware
• Demolition of existing commercial spaces
• Install ceilings, backing, miscellaneous carpentry
• Work safely and efficiently on active job sites
Qualifications:
• 5+ years commercial carpentry experience preferred
• Must understand layout and take direction
• Ability to work independently and with crew
• Reliable transportation
• Basic hand tools required
• Clean, professional appearance on job sites
Compensation:
$25 – $45 per hour (Based on experience and skill level)
Full-time steady work. Local projects — no long-distance travel.
