Approx. 21" diameter stone sharpening wheel on it's original metal stand, with new stainless bearings mounted in wood pillow blocks. It appears to originally be foot powered and I tried to restore it. I got as far as truing the stone and its face, but the crank arm broke (see pics). The stone itself is in fantastic shape with a flat face and nicely round. The axle fitted through the stone has bezels on either side, and one side is broken. The stone face is 2" wide. I intended to use is to sharpen plane irons and chisels, basically to replace the electric grinder due to its propensity to heat up the edge and ruin the metal.
Anyhow, would make a nice vintage decoration or continue the restoration and use it. It is beyond my metal working capabilities.
