I removed the DVD drive and installed a second 250gb SSD so there is a total of 500gb (I'm not sure what I did with the dvd drive, so don't ask). Everything works, it's just old. Battery life is admittedly not great; I've mostly just been using it plugged in.

Used recovery to wipe and reinstall OS X; you'll need to create a user to update.
