We're now well into the New Year, and whether or not you made
a resolution to finally get your records organized, perhaps it would
be a great idea to do so now.
I'm a highly skilled document scan technician and document / records
management specialist.
I recently re-located from Washington, DC back to my hometown
Albany Capital Area.
I'm looking for volume work, scanning, etc., on your existing computers
and equipment, at your office(s) / site(s), for your storage in (and your
future quick retrieval from) your system(s).
My services are ideal for law firms, title companies, banks and credit unions,
mortgage companies, realtors, accountants, medical providers, educational
institutions, automobile dealerships, or any kind of business or profession.
For your personal records, or your business records (small business or any sized
business), I have the records management and document storage experience and
expertise you need. I've done projects for large companies and huge government
agencies (NASA, etc.), so I'm sure I can handle whatever you need done (and the
bigger the project, the better).
This is a computer-based service, getting all your microfiche, microfilm, hard files,
paper documents, pictures, case records, transaction records, etc., whether personal,
employment-related, or business-related, neatly converted, re-imaged or reconstructed
if necessary, copied, saved, etc., into PDF, etc., format, and indexed, all for storage
on your computers / drives.
Once in your computer system, they will all be readily available for your easy future
retrieval (offline and online) and reference or re-use whenever needed (even if you're
traveling across the globe at the time!).
I can often even do "surgery" on your damaged and faded microfiche, hard files, etc.

projects that are behind schedule, etc.
I can do the work at your home or offices on your equipment, in Schenectady,
Albany, Rensselaer, and other nearby counties.
Alternatively, if you are comfortable in doing so, and depending on the type of
originals, you can ship the files to me (or have me pick them up, depending on
where you are) and I can find compatible equipment in the immediate Albany
area on which to perform the work. Your microfilm, microfiche, etc., records
should probably be done at your site on your equipment .
Depending on your location, and under the right circumstances and arrangements,
I could even travel to your offices / facilities in distant counties in New York,
Massachusetts, Vermont or elsewhere.
Pricing of my services (by the hour or by the image) can vary depending upon factors
like my driving distance to your location, overall size of project, daily volume of work,
type of originals and condition thereof, added hand-labor involved in preparing your
documents for safe scanning, and similar/related factors.
