I'm looking for some side work, and as this is the season
for holiday parties and other events and locations, you
should think seriously about using me as your designated
driver for any of these:
__ holiday parties (company or any other)
__ nights out on town (bars, restaurants, nightclubs, etc.)
__ sporting events (basketball, hockey, etc. - pro or college -
locally or in more distant locations)
__ visits to breweries, distilleries or wineries
New York State has some of the strictest drunk driving laws,
almost draconian in fact, and it takes next to nothing to pop
the legal limit. You may feel fine, but the breathalyzer will
say otherwise.
Here's where I can help you avoid all the fines, penalties, jail
time (even overnight sucks, let alone an eventual sentence of
incarceration), legal expenses, court costs, job consequences.
spiked insurance premiums, driving suspension (while you
still have to make those car payments while it collects dust).
and worst of all, personal injuries to your passengers or to
others on the road.
My fees are well worth the price to avoid all that.
Now, I will point out that I would be driving you and your group
in your vehicle, for a couple perfectly valid reasons. One is that
you're all completely insured by your auto policy (while you would
not be if someone - other than me - uses their own vehicle without the
proper NYS license, or the enhanced insurance, for carrying passengers
for hire). Another reason is that frankly I wouldn't like having to clean
up my car after driving people around (leaving trash or worse all over
the seats, etc.).
So get back to me with the following info about your plans:
__ date(s), start time(s) and address(es) (town and zip are fine)
and for each occasion:
__ number of people in your group
__ type of vehicle you're providing
__ number of additional addresses and the
general locations) where others in your group
will need to be picked up
__ venues (bars / restaurants / nightclubs /parties / etc.)
to which the group will be going, and approximate times
at each
__ general locations where members of group will be
dropped off later
__ estimated time to be back at your place and my driving
work completed
and I'll give you an estimate of my total fees (my rates are very reasonable).
