Uconnect Access keeps you connected on the road with services like Remote Start, Remote Door Lock, Vehicle Health Reports, and Stolen Vehicle Location Assistance.
I bought this adapter to use in my 2017 Ram 1500 pick-up truck when the factory Uconnect stopped working as a result of 2G being phased out, (and 3G is being phased out if it isn't already gone).
This adapter always worked well for me.
I traded in that truck but kept the adapter because the dealer wasn't giving me any trade-in credit for it.
***IMPORTANT NOTE: If your vehicle didn't originally come with factory installed Uconnect Access from its creation, this probably won't work for you. You need Uconnect to have been originally set up with your vehicle before the old 2G infrastructure was phased out...
You have to purchase a plan from UConnect in order to use this adapter but, it's a reasonable cost and if your vehicle has the outdated technology, like my 2017 Ram did, you need this adapter for Uconnect access.

In order to use 4G services, you will need the T-Mobile 4G Adapter and a Uconnect Access subscription plan.
