It is a good idea these days to have cameras in the car to record any mishaps. We were hit and the woman tried to drive away; fortunately we had a camera in the car and were able to successfully argue our claim. A friend of ours was hit broadside by a woman who ran a stop sign. She got out, asked if he was okay, then brazenly drove off never to be seen again.
It is best to have a camera both front and rear.
I bought these cameras on Amazon but could not figure out how to work them. In the end we got something else. A younger tech savvy individual would probably know what to do.
