The Ace of Tone features a NUX Morning Star (Bluesbreaker) on the right side and a Tubeman Mark II (Tubescreamer) on the left. The Morning Star features the Shine function which provides a treble boost when the footswitch is held. The Tubeman has a Fat feature to provide a bass boost, very helpful with a TS device.

Each side can be used individually or cascaded into the other. A mini toggle allows you to determine the direction of the cascade. There are 2 switches on the back of the pedal. 1 lets you choose between true bypass or buffered operation, the other between 9V or 18V operation for expanded headroom and dynamics.

I'm a big fan of NUX pedals. I bought an Ace of Tone and a Queen of Tone and decided I'm more of a Klon guy so I'm keeping the Queen of Tone. This pedal is essentially as new. It's had a few hours of use in my home studio while I did my comparisons, and includes the box and all the candy that came with it.

I live in Kingston but am in the Albany and Waterford area on a fairly regular basis.
