Compensation
Pay $26 to $30 per hour plus 2 weeks paid time off. Yes our part-time employees deserve vacation pay!

Location Schenectady Scotia area. Preferred applicant will reside in or close to this area.

All work is on the books.

No experience required as full training is provided.

Shift and schedule
Employees are allowed to make their own schedule as work can be done at any time and any day of the week. Specific day and time of work is left up to employee to decide.

Who we are:
Established in 1993, TJB Sunshine provides maintenance / specialty cleaning service for national retail chain stores across NY state. Our average employee has worked with us for over 10 years. We have had continued growth and now services almost all of NYS. We provide a wide range of maintenance and cleaning services to retail stores only. We are looking for a local technician to provide store front window cleaning services to our established customers in the schenectady area.

Qualification requirements:

Work experience.
Minimum 3 years experience with one company

Valid NYS driver's license with no major. Infractions. Car required

Education
Minimum requirement High school diploma, GED or greater

Experience with customer service

Skills with small hand tools

Background checks are required

Physical fitness ability to be on your feet for extended hours, bending, reaching , crawling etc.

Employee will need a positive friendly attitude with ability to converse with all levels of retail management as well as our office staff.

Hiring process
Unfortunately not all applicant will be contacted. Applicants that are selected will be contacted for follow up. Interested applicants them are chosen for a paid working interview. Normally a couple hours working with us at one of our accounts. This is done primarily so applicants can have a hands on look at what we do to see if it is a good fit for them. We pay for all training including interview time. After a training period, most of the time you would be working by yourself.

It's a simple business but the way we operate is so different than normal business. I am amazed at how much are business continues to grow and I know it's because of the employees dedication. After 30 years our business beliefs on how to develop and retain both employees and customers has proven to be very successful. The fact is people are not disposable. Everyone deserves fairness and to be paid well for their efforts. We pay far greater than industry standard and charge our customers more. Providing consistent quality service makes it worth it for our customers and allows us to pay our employees more than normal. By paying more we can hire and retain amazing people and everyone benefits. There is no corporate execs making decisions that negatively impact the employees. It's not about the money for me it's about working hard and making things happen. Creating a small piece of the world where everyone can succeed and be happy is more valuable than money. I don't believe there is any place or need in business for voices or attitudes to be raised, we are all equals. Sorry for my own little rant but what the heck, we're paying for the ad.
