Restoration Operators is a 24/7 emergency disaster restoration company for water, fire, storm, and mold damage. Our experienced team of seasoned military veterans and business professionals focus on the region we know so well. We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a restoration technician. The responsibilities of the restoration technician include assessing damaged properties to see what can be saved, cleaning damaged properties, removing and replacing damaged materials, and sanitizing the restored homes.
To be successful as a restoration technician, you should be physically fit, have a keen understanding of safety gear, a working knowledge of hand and power tools. Ultimately, a top-notch restoration technician should have excellent communication skills and social awareness. As well as awareness of home construction.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
*Clean up and remove debris from job sites
*Set up equipment and tools needed for restoration work
*Remove damaged building materials like drywall and flooring
*Follow safety guidelines and regulations while working on job sites
*Utilize hand and power tools to complete restoration tasks
*Document work progress and report any issues to supervisors
*Work cooperatively with other team members to complete restoration projects
*Maintain and organize equipment and tools needed for job sites
Restoration Technician Requirements:
*A high school diploma or GED.
*(((DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED)))
* knowledge in cleaning and restoration.
*Excellent working knowledge of hand and power tools.
*Physical fitness.
*Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
*The ability to lift 50lbs regularly
*Ability to stand, stoop and bend for extended periods
*Ability to work in tight enclosed spaces (crawl spaces, attics)
*Schedule 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, OT frequently available with some weekends required. Emergency hours are sometimes required. *$20-$26hr depending on experience.
