We are a mid-size property management company providing services to owners throughout the local area. We are in need of someone local to help us with basic administrative tasks, for compensation. This individual would NOT be an employee, but an independent contractor (1099) and they would have extensive flexibility over their schedule.
Contractor will have a list of tasks (called “Activities"), that will act as a running "to do" list. Some of these tasks will have specific dates/times associated with them (e.g. if they are MEETING someone to pick something up, etc.), while the majority of the tasks will simply have a DUE DATE. For all tasks without specific dates/times, the Contractor may complete it at a date/time convenient to them (as long as it's completed by the due date). For example, if they are in Albany doing a personal task, they can decide to do one or many tasks while they're in the area, if they have time.
Requirements:
- Contractor MUST have access to a reliable vehicle
- Contractor MUST have reliable cell phone service
- Contractor MUST be comfortable with utilizing technology (AppFolio Property Manager, email, text messaging, etc.)
- Contractor MUST pass background check
Ideally, we are looking for someone who is able to manage their own schedule (personal and business) efficiently, perform tasks on time, successfully, and has basic customer service skills for interacting with tenants/other contractors, when necessary.
Compensation:
Contractor will be compensated for each SUCCESSFULLY completed task. They will be required to provide PROOF of successful completion (e.g. photos, videos, etc.) in order to get paid. Pay period is Wednesday-Thursday, and the funds would be deposited on Friday of each week (if applicable). The amount the Contractor would be paid for each task is negotiable and will be finalized if and when we move to the contract stage (after preliminary discussions and skillset is evaluated). Contracts will NOT be awarded without proof of successfully passed background check.
