In need of someone to take care for my wife weekdays from 11am until 4pm, Monday through Friday. She is 75 years old and has MS. She is in a power wheelchair, has no use of her legs at all and can only use one hand. The job consists of getting her lunch when you arrive. Usually, yogurt or 1/2 sandwich. You will have to feed her. If the weather is nice take her outside for a little while. After that put her down in bed for an hour or two then get her up and comfortable in her chair. She needs to lifted using the "bear hug". Use of a Hoyer is out. She weighs 110 and is about 5' tall. You will need to be around 5'4" or taller (this is critical) to be able to move her without dragging her feet. While she is laying down there will be laundry to fold a couple of days a week. Clothes will be washed and in the dryer. Will not need to give her meds. She has a super pubic catheter. You will have to empty the bag once per day. If she has to go to the bathroom you will need to put her on the toilet and when she is done, you will need to clean her. Dependable transportation is required. This is a private job.
