For Treatment of “Foot Drop” caused by upper motor neuron injury such as caused by STROKE, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, CEREBRAL PALSY and some SPINAL CORD INJURIES
This unit was used for about a year (Hemiplegic Stroke Patient) and is still in Complete and Great Condition!
Patient was unable to walk at all - BUT with this unit AND a Walker - Nerve Regeneration and Strength Increased -after some months was able to walk with just the unit and then after about 9 months was able to walk unaided
To purchase this Unit NEW would cost you around $5000 (we paid $4000 about 15 years ago) plus Additional Electrodes (a 4 Pack is over $40!)
I assume this is not always successful for everyone and in NO WAY guarantee it will be the miracle you are looking for- HOWEVER- if your Physician thinks this is a great option for you- OR if you are looking to replace the device you are already are using- this will save you at least $4500! (Insurance Companies have yet to cover this- as Physical Therapy is the preferred method of treatment- but that can take FOREVER!)

Generally fitted by a trained person in the “field” but by reading all the info (included and/or online) you (and maybe a helper) will be able to set this up yourself- the main thing is to position the electrode(s) where it will raise the foot (trial and error- but once you have it- you can mark the spot on leg- until you know exactly where it goes)
FYI: I called the Company this was purchased/fitted by and asked them if (for a fee) they would fit someone using a pre-owned device - their answer was no- they only service “New Buyers” (A LOT of $ is involved for them…)
