Up for sale is an old McCulloch Eager Beaver 2.0. I got it in a batch of old saws, that I only wanted one of. I cleaned the spark plug, squirted fuel mix down the carburetor and it fired and ran until that fuel was gone. Smoked up my whole shop. Further investigation revealed that someone put bar oil in the fuel tank. So I cleaned the tank, and ran the saw again. Still only runs on the primed fuel, but no more smoke. It’s in overall decent shape, with normal wear for an old saw. The saw is 100% complete, missing no parts.
Please don’t expect to buy this saw and use it tomorrow. It sat for years, and will need the appropriate maintenance. However, all the important things are there (good spark, compression, etc) so it’s a perfect project saw. It has a lot of life left in it from back when saws were better made.
