Up for sale is an old Homelite XL-12. I got it in a batch of old saws, that I only wanted one of. I replaced the spark plug, squirted fuel mix down the carburetor and it fired and ran until that fuel was gone. I added fuel to the tank but it didn’t do anything, so needs some mechanical attention. It’s in overall decent shape, with normal wear for an old saw. The saw is 100% complete, missing no parts. Even has the unusual “stack” muffler. Carburetor is unusually clean. Has manual oiler with copper lines which demonstrates its age.
Please don’t expect to buy this saw and use it tomorrow. It sat for years, and will need the appropriate maintenance. However, all the important things are there (good spark, compression, etc) so it’s a perfect project saw. It has a lot of life left in it from back when saws were better made. It comes with a Homelite Super XL power head that is complete. That has many parts to support the XL-12. If seriously interested, text 5wun8-8five7-7five2five. It can be seen most weekdays from around 7:00-200 (it’s at my work). Reasonable offers considered.
