Sun System 500 Watt combination HPS and MH together in one Hood. This is not an LED light. It is an air-cooled High Intensity Discharge Grow lamp that contains 2 bulbs and is encased with tempered glass. It requires a duct fan
and dryer hoses to blow air thru the hood to remove the heat. If there is no concern for heat then no fan is needed. But the hood gets hot with the light. With the hood fan it's a huge difference. I can put my face on the hood with the fan on, . Bulbs are pretty new and have a lot of life left in them. Each bulb is 250 watts totaling 500 watts. Recommended to be kept at a distance of 3ft or more from the top of the plant canopy. Ballast is separate with a long cord and can be kept many feet from hood. Hanging hardware included. Paid $750 .
