The piece is stamped Ship Ahoy. They made quality furniture. Rustic, walnut finished chest of drawers features a rectangular top inset with a black, faux leather surface on top. It is great for small spaces, the drawers are spacious.
Set with three drawers complete with original handles that are fitted metal. They are an arc style handle that will last forever. The handles have the natural patina. The piece is in good condition as it has been painted. If you like the standard original wood look, it could easily be sanded or stripped.
