Passed along from the family collections, is this sweet wood chest. Needs refinishing to remove paint. :)
This chest has a distressed, rustic appearance as started removing paint a couple years ago. As seen in the photos, the beautiful wood grain is exposed.
The chest features a decorative top piece and three drawers (shown partially open). The drawers have simple wooden pulls or holes for pulls, and the construction is dovetailed. Similar items are often handcrafted and made from various woods like oak, maple, or cherry.
These types of chests are designed to sit on top of a dresser or vanity and provide organized storage for jewelry but can be used for anyway you like!
