AstroMaster 70eq in great shape. Great for the moon, planets, the Sun (with a proper filter), as well as the brighter deep-sky objects (double stars, clusters, brighter nebulae).

It includes 25mm and 9mm eyepieces, and the mount moves smoothly in equatorial or alt-azimuth mode. The slow-motion controls make finding & tracking objects easier. With its erect-image diagonal, this scope works well for terrestrial viewing, too.

I replaced the useless proprietary red dot finder and mount with a finder shoe that conforms to the Vixen-Synta standard. This allows use with other finders, such as a 6x30 RACI optical finder. (The RACI finder is not included with this sale. The picture is for illustration only.) A generic red dot finder is included.

This is a great little scope for quick viewing sessions with an easy carry out the door. (I was looking at Saturn and Titan with it just last night.)
