The Realistic CD-1400 (released by RadioShack in the late 1980s) is a utilitarian, vintage CD player. It offers a warm, forgiving sound, basic 16-track programmability, and excellent, skip-resistant tracking for casual listening. Tested. Please note: the loading tray comes out properly but has to be "pushed" back in. Once in the CD loads and plays properly. All other functions operate properly and it plays and sounds great.
