For sale for $150. is this original 20" by 15", signed, matted, glassed and professionally framed watercolor, "Out From Armidale" by Australian artist, Arthur J. Woodcock of Kiama, New South Wales, undated but painted about 1970 and was purchased from the artist in 1974. ~~ The Kiama, New South Wales Art Society was formed in 1966 as the Kiama and District Art Society. The first exhibition was opened on 14th December 1966, and is still active today. The first President was Arthur J. Woodcock and the first Open Annual Exhibition was held in the Kiama Showground Pavilion in 1979 with one of the main sponsors being Kiama Municipal Council, which continues with cash prizes and in-kind support to this day. ** Armidale is a city in the Northern Tablelands, New South Wales, Australia. Armidale had a population of 23,967 as of the 2021 census. It is the administrative centre for the Northern Tablelands region. It is approximately halfway between Sydney and Brisbane at the junction of the New England Highway and Waterfall Way ~~~ Painting is for sale for $150.00 and can be picked up in Bennington.
