Ben Kahn was a famous furrier. The Metropolitan had an exhibit featuring some of his work. I did not see this myself but found reference to the exhibit on the internet.
The design is in a classic style and is in beautiful condition. Soft and supple. No damages or wear inside or out. My husband bought the coat for me many years ago but it is too large.
Measures 23 inches armpit to armpit, and neck to hem measures 48 inches.
Downsizing.
