La Bodega Fresh Market is seeking a dependable and experienced Operations Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations. This role serves as the backbone of the warehouse, managing inbound products, inventory, order fulfillment, and the packing team to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time. This person will have one to two employees on the team supporting the warehouse activities. This position reports directly to the home office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and team performance.
- Receive, inspect, and manage incoming inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Ensure orders are packed and shipped correctly.
- Lead and support warehouse packers throughout the day.
- Identify and resolve operational, inventory, and shipping issues.
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and safe work environment.
- Assist with process improvements and operational planning.
- Assist team members with additional operational tasks when needed.
Qualifications of the Best Candidate
- Previous warehouse, operations, logistics, or management experience
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail orientation
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Ability to take responsibility and work with a team.
- The ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 45 lbs. is required.
Compensation
- $3,750 to $4,000 per month, depending on experience
- Potential for performance bonuses
- Ten Paid Holidays Per Year
