These beautiful Wooden Boats were purchased by the wealthiest N.Y. These new Boats were transported by rail in the springtime to the Adirondacks and unloaded at Saranac Inn to be used at St. Regis Lakes. The 26' Consolidated Speedways (junior model) from 1906 is an original unrestored boat named HEXAN and was used on Lake Sunapee N.H. back in the Day. The 30' Consolidated Speedways (senior model) from 1912 was named SEAGULL and originally owned by one of the survivors of the Titanic disaster named Bucknell. The Bucknell's were a wealthy Philadelphia Pa. family who had Camp on Upper Saranac Lake and also established Bucknell Collage in Pa. This boat has all its original hardware and 75% restored!
