1988 Formula F242 SR1 with twins. Very rare model. Boat is owned by the owner of In Tune Marine, LLC in Gloversville, NY. It has been my personal boat since 2014. Since I purchased it, I have done lots and lots of upgrades. Repowered in 2015 with complete 'drop-in' MerCruiser 357 Mag Bravo engines rated at 325hp each. Engines are still covered under Mercury Marine warranty until September 2018. Both outdrives were replaced in 2016 with Sterndrive Engineering complete model SE106 and are under full coverage 'no-fault' warranty until 2019. Port outdrive is counter rotating. Propellers were also new in 2016 - 21P stainless steel Quicksilver Thunderbolt. Hardin Marine custom stainless steel tie-bar to link outdrives together. Garmin GPSmap 53dv Chartplotter/Sonar preloaded with U.S. Inland Lakes and expansion slot to accept other maps. New vinyl upholstery. Original installed driver & passenger drop-down bolster chairs. Kicker Marine 6.5" speakers with titanium tweeters, 12" subwoofer, and system matched 5 channel amplifier and bluetooth stereo receiver with remote. Two new Interstate Marine Batteries with two battery switches for full isolation/parallel selectability. New stainless steel rubrail. New Sunbrella cockpit cover. All new Gaffrig gauges. New Gaffrig 4-lever throttle/shift controls. Lots and lot of upgrades, and I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out.
I have a new puppy dog and the boat isn't practical for me anymore. I have a real bond with the boat due to a lot of money spent, and hard work invested that makes me reluctant to sell, but it's time for a center console boat that's more dog friendly.
Boat sits on a 2004 aluminum I-beam trailer made by NexTRAIL. It has working surge brakes and 4 brand new wheels & tires. I have over $30,000 invested in this boat/trailer combination, and that's not counting hundreds of hours of labor, for which I charge $90 an hour at In Tune Marine. I am a Mercury Marine factory trained and dual certified technician, so rest assured everything was done professionally, and especially on my personal boat.
