Antique Wooden Polychrome Putti - $1,000

Purchased in Germany about 25 years ago and was told it is 18th century, which I do not doubt. I am not an expert on these objects and can not provide any more details. There are cracks in the wood (see photos). I do not believe the paint is all original but how old I could not say. In very good condition.
Measures 13 inches from wing tip to wing tip, and is 9 inches top to bottom.
