1907 Pony Express Painting - $2,000

I inherited this painting and do not have much information. It is signed Samuel Hall, dated 1907 on the back, and there is a stamp on the frame I am unable to make out. Compositions romanticizing the Wild West were common in the 19th and 20th century and copied by many artists. It is old.
Measures 16 1/2 inches wide by 10 3/4 inches tall.
