The Dyson DC65 MULTI FLOOR upright vacuum is very powerful (the most powerful in its class). Rolling head brush itcan be turned off/on, is backed by swivel ball that makes sharp corners. Several tools come with the machine. This heavy-duty Dyson is for large areas. I moved to a smaller apartment, however, the vacuum has been used only lightly in the past couple of years. The vacuum should be useful for years.
