I am unsure of the age of the chair but I have had it a long time and I believe it is an antique. Wonderful carved wood work. The upholstery is suede. it is comfortable with its nice large seat. It was exposed to a cat for a very short time and she did claw the back once. Not real noticeable. Chair could be reupholstered easy enough. I just don't have the room for the chair any longer. The seat measures about 29 x 24 and the chair is about 45" high.
