For sale is a Hardinge HLV-H precision tool room lathe . Made in approximately 1960. It comes with a Hardinge 3 jaw chuck with inside and outside jaws. Operators manual. A carriage travel dial indicator. An Aloris A-5 tool post with 2 tool holders and wrench. Will cut English threads from 11-108 pitch. 5-C collets from 1/8" to 1-1/16" in 1/16th inch increments. and a work lamp. This has a variable speed 125-3000 rpm spindle . A 1 hp , 3 phase motor. It has variable power carriage and crosslide feed . Bijur one shot oiling system. Overall this lathe is in good condition with wear and chips in the paint. The dovetail bed is in excellent condition. There is about .045" backlash in the carriagre dial and approx. .005" backlash in the crosslide dial. This machine was used to make various microscopy supplies and has been well maintained throughout it's life.I have personally used and maintained this machine in a professional capacity for the last 16 yrs and know it's condition well and have described as such. If you know anything about Hardinge lathes then you know about their superior quality and ability to hold tight tolerances. For the price ,this machine will not disappoint.
