UPDATE: Tell you what...why don't we just partner up and you can work on it and get it set up for your use in exchange for a very minimal rent to cover taxes and insurance. I'm thinking $100.00 per month, but that may even be negotiable. I don't really need to sell it anyway. I just want someone to enjoy it. We could also start with a couple storage units together and build it up from that point over time. I have some acreage which I have no use for any more and would like to see someone get something out of it. Just offer me something I can use, but keep in mind that I live 3000 miles away from there. It would be perfect for someone looking for a spot to park a camper and just come up once in a while or possibly a future self storage site. It adjoins other property that belongs to the State along the river (steep bank to walk down, but nice and private), so it's a nice spot for fishing. There is a power line crossing the property, but no water or sewer now. It's about a half acre, but much of it is unuseable (unless you are a mountain goat). I can get whatever information you need if you're interested. Pay closing costs and a small down payment, then just send me a few bucks each month and you have yourself a weekend getaway within a few miles of West Mountain and Lake George. It's pretty tough to go wrong on Real Estate in general, but at this price? Come on! And please don't ask me if you can build a house on it. I had to add this because I got so many calls from people thinking that they could build a house on a parcel of land that they are going to purchase for the price of a good riding mower.
