Job Description:
Variable Operations Sales Specialists (VOSS) partner with account managers to lead and advance the sales cycle. They participate in planning and implementing strategies and programs with the account managers, and they are also a part of the solution team business reviews. They are responsible for performing basic administrative duties as needed, including updates and maintenance of appropriate reporting/database systems.
Training:
Nine classes through Reynolds University (approximately one week each) over the course of 12 months, as well as on-the-job training.
Required Experience
5+ years related experience
Automotive industry experience is preferred
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Broader skills are required in an area of specialization directly related to the work performed
· Individual must fully understand all aspects of sales process (account planning, opportunity management)
· Must have detailed, expert-level product knowledge on assigned set of solutions
· Strong customer relationship skills
· Persuasiveness and sale closing ability
· Account management understanding and ability to execute
· Able to work as a team member and be a positive influence on others
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Proven account management success
