I am a single Mom with two wonderful boys age 8 and 5. We are looking for a single adult (maybe a couple), or a mature student, who would like to share our large Victorian home in the village of Ballston Spa. Available Dec 1.
A nice walk to all the downtown shops and bus line. Our chemical free home has many large rooms- living room, dining room, eat in kit, Waldorf style play room, 4+ bedrooms, 2 full baths- one with a claw foot tub, large up stairs laundry room, workshop, and lots of storage. Most of the rooms are hardwood floors, two stair cases, and beautiful mahogany archways. There is off street parking, a small vegetable garden, compost, herb and flower gardens, garage for some storage, front and side porch, a little tree/fort house, and lots of lilac bushes. House is well furnished.
Your private bedroom, furnished or unfurnished is in the back part of the house with a three season sun porch off of it-Lovely!. It has new barber carpeting, cable hook up, and two closets. The whole house is available to you- our home is your home (excluding our bedrooms and my office). Included in the rent $650.00 is heat/elec, cable, garbage, water, and laundry.
We are early risers and early to bed. We work hard to keep our home clean and organized, however life does get a little busy at times :>). We have a guinea pig "Layla" and several fish "fish". We are looking for a like minded soul so we can all live in harmony. Some one who is respectfully of others and the earth, clean, non-smoker, quite, and willing to work together. Maybe someone who would like to live in community, ie: eats organic/biodynamic and would like to share food and cooking. If this sounds like something that works for you please contact us.
