Hi there- My friend and I are looking for a 2+ car garage or 2 bays in a larger garage that we can rent, preferably in the Altamont / Guilderland Center area. We're looking for space to store our "toys", and also to tinker with them from time to time. We're adults, working full-time jobs, so we wouldn't be up there all the time. We just need to get some things out of the places we have them stored, and get them put back together. We're not looking to start a business out of your backyard or anything, just a place to enjoy our hobby... we just don't have garages of our own (yet).
We're pretty poor so we're looking for something really cheap. We'd even be willing to work for some or all of the rent- if you've got a garage that needs a cleanout or some fixing-up, we could do that. We can run electrical, repair cement, fix leaky roofing, whatever. We could also exchange other handyman / light mechanical work for rent (you wouldn't have to worry about your car needing an oil change, brakes, etc. for awhile...).
We promise we won't be too noisy or otherwise make a pain in the butt out of ourselves, and we could furnish plenty of personal references.
