Who defines "depraved"? You? Marriage began as a ritual handing over the ownership of a woman from her father to her husband. Women at that time had no rights, they were naught but property. When a husband died, his wife received nothing. All of his belongings went to his eldest son, if there were none, his possessions went to his eldest living brother.

Since women are no longer considered property, but equal human beings with a right of inheritance, I say that the definition of marriage has already changed. There is no reason it cannot be redefined now to include same sex. The proplem is, that too many people like you do not approve of certain lifestyles, so you will punish and persecute those who do practice it in any way you can. People like you are dinosaurs. Within the next three generations or so, you and conservative values will have gone extinct.
