Poll Shows Hoffman With 5-Point Lead Over Owens
Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman holds a 5-point lead over Democrat Bill Owens in the race for an upstate New York congressional seat, according to a poll released today. The New York congressional seat has become a sought-after prize from the Democrats who sent VP Biden to campaign for Owens. Hoffman joined Sean on the NewsMaker hotline to discuss his campaign and small lead heading into Election Day tomorrow. “I’m cautiously optimistic about it and we’re still out there fighting to get the vote out for tomorrow because that’s the important thing,” Hoffman told Sean. Hoffman and Owens are competing for the 23rd Congressional District seat formerly held by Republican John McHugh, who was lured away by the Obama administration to be Army secretary. “I think this is a pivotal race,” Sean said, “this is a key moment for the Republican Party that their conservative base won’t support their liberal candidates. [The Hoffman race] has really given us an opportunity to really stand up for conservative values versus the Republican Party.”

Christie With A Late Surge
A new Quinnipiac poll shows Christie ahead of Corzine 42-40. This is particularly meaningful because last week Corzine was actually ahead by 5 points in the Quinnipiac poll. Additionally, a new poll from Public Policy Polling shows Christie ahead of Corzine 47-41. Christie joined Sean hot on the campaign trail and was cautiously optimistic. “All the trending is in the right direction so we feel very very good going into tomorrow,” said Christie. "Jon Corzine stood in front of the people of New Jersey and made a bunch of promises and he put his hand over his heart and said, 'Citizens of New Jersey, hold me accountable,'" Christie said. "Well, November 3rd is accountability day, let's pick him up and throw him out!" Losing both New Jersey and Virginia would likely slow President Obama's legislative priorities and give Republicans a reason to smile for the first time in a long time.

Emergency House Call On Washington
Americans across the nation have certainly made it clear that they are not in favor of Obama Care via town hall meetings, phone calls and emails to their Congress people. Representative Michelle Bachman, who joined Sean by telephone, sees just how committed the Democrats are to forcing through health care reform. Her solution? An “emergency house call on Washington.” Bachman told Sean that she wants Americans to join her on the steps of the Capital November 5th for a brief press conference. From there, she is encouraging the crowd to go to their representatives' office and “look them in the whites of their eyes” and voice their displeasure with Obama Care. Bachman is confident that if enough people join her in Washington and speak face-to-face with the Congress people the healthcare bill can be defeated. { Watch Bachmann on FoxNews discuss her plan}.

The Pelosi Care is 1992 Pages Long – Posted by Mgifford
Have any of you researched how many pages our original documents are written on? Did it take 1000 pages for the Constitution? 1500 pages to bring us the Bill of Rights? What about the Declaration of Independance, 3000 pages?

>> TV Tonight (Hannity FOXNews 9pm EST):
Will a congressional race in upstate New York prove a bellwether for conservatives? We'll get a read from Doug Hoffman, congressional candidate.
