Owner from NYC said he loves, man , women and children but they can't handle him. Perhaps someone with hound experience or land can give him a new home that would be good for a hound. Not even sure if he walked for very long or what. He is on the NYC euthanasia list2 yo neutered Redbone Hound, owner surrender as he would have become unpredictable.... although he shows good obedience. He is also said to be housetrained and love everybody. As per admitting handlers, he was extremely well behaved even while receiving his vaccinations. A real beauty. Pictured here as he comes in.

Both boys are true snuggle bunnies! They LOVE human attention and even like to chat every once and a while. I was told that they also really enjoy having their bellies rubbed and will roll over at your feet for it! SO ADORABLE!
They are both 100% up to date on all shots, flea and tick free, tested neg. for feline leukemia/aids, and are litter box trained. The only bad thing is that they are not yet fixed, BUT neither of them have any issues with spraying or marking (and there are plenty of places that will fix cats for a very low cost i.e. local spca or mobile spay/neuter van)

But when he gets tired out, he's the purrfect companion for your pillow at night or your under-the-covers arms; and he'll climb onto your lap if you're sitting doing work, or right up onto your chest if you're lying back reading. He's very giving and companionable. Sure, he likes to have a good time, but even healthy little kittens finally get tuckered out, and when this kitten gets tuckered out, he comes to you to crash on. If he ever "grows out" of his boisterous kitten stage, he'll be all loving, all the time.

And for the feline and canine members of your family, this affectionate kitty has got affections galore. In his foster home here, loves to pile up in a big ol' loving heap with his furry foster friends, a muddle-puddle of purry ecstasy and intimacy and kitty-bonding; he looks after his foster-brother who's blind; he suckles blissfully at his tolerant older brother-kitten Tunner's belly; and he doesn't attack the foster-brother senior dog he's currently living with, is almost respectful (unless that tail gets swished right in his face - too tempting not to bat around!).

Bucks a big baby, he wont even harm a cat when thier comming after him. He rolls around and loves belly rubs! Since ive been watching over him i have gotten him neutered and he has frontline on him currently. He's perfectly healthy and the vet said he is about 2 years old. He's a manly man cat and does love to play outside, so he would be fine as an indoor/outdoor kitty.

He's a real sweet boy and i would love for him to go to a sweet home, before it gets to cold for him! I hate seeing him outside at night in his little house when it rains/snows but i simply cant bring him in.

Here is a excerpt of the bill and an indication as to why we need this bill. Currently, a breeder can own over 1000 animals (gasp)- just read below!

PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:
To limit the number of animals under the care of any one person or business in order to help curtail the abusive treatment that dogs and cats sometimes receive from pet dealers and breeders.

JUSTIFICATION: Currently, New York law does not limit the number of animals a breeder may have. Some breeders have hundreds, and even thousands of animals. The conditions in which such animals live are often very poor. Such animals lack proper food, water, shelter, and veterinary care. Some animals live their entire lives within a cage, loosing the ability to walk. A common term for places that use abusive dog breeding practices is "puppy mills."

This legislation limits the number of dogs or cats that have intact sexual organs and are over the age of four months that a breeder may own at one time to fifty. The effective date of one hundred eighty days gives owners ample time to comply with the amended law. However, should a breeder be in violation of the new law, this legislation provides that a police officer or certain agents or officers may take possession of animals kept in violation of such law and the offspring of such animals, provided a proper warrant is issued by any magistrate authorized to issue warrants in criminal cases. The goal of this legislation is to limit the number of animals used for breeding in order to help ensure that dogs and cats will be treated more humanely by pet dealers and those who are breeders, and that people who purchase dogs or cats will receive a companion animal that is healthy.

Maggie is the one who needs a home the most. Some of the other anti-social cats have picked on her, to the point where she was so terrified that she started hiding on top of cabinets all of the time. We finally ended up giving her one of our spare bedrooms, so this poor sweetheart lives by herself in an 8x12 room. She is a medium haired white cat with black spots - so beautiful! She would take a little while to adjust to a new home, but once she does, she is a lap cat, and loves nothing more than a shoulder to curl up on! She's good with the litter box. She is about 2.5 years old, and she is spayed.

C.C. really doesn't like other cats, and usually growls if they come within 4 feet of her. She LOVES laps, and would be perfect for an adult who is home a lot. I'm not sure that she would be great with young children, but she would be fine with older ones. She's a little on the eccentric side, and will only eat dry food. She's a short haired brownish gray tiger cat. She's good with a litter box. She's about 4.5 years old, and is spayed.

Oscar actually doesn't mind other cats too much. His problem is that he was about 10 months old when we got him, and the shelter had not neutered him yet. Therefore, when we took him home around other cats (who are all fixed) he started spraying. He's gotten better about it, but still does it some. We really really think that if he was the only cat, he would stop spraying. If anyone has any ideas about this, please help!!! The spraying is not sanitary with a baby coming!!! He is a VERY affectionate cat with people. My 13 year old stepson lived with us for awhile, and Oscar would let him hold him in any way he wanted - very laid back! He's a medium haired orange and white cat. Other than the spraying he is good with a litter box. He is about 2 years old, and is neutered.

Bitsy would possibly be okay with another male cat, but she has dominance issues with other female cats. She really wants to be an alpha cat, and she has the attitude to go along! When she decides that she likes a person, she will follow them around very faithfully, anywhere they go! She is probably one of the most attention hungry out of any of our cats. She would be great with adults and older children, but probably not younger children. She's a short haired black cat with a little white on her chest. She's good with a litter box. She's about 4.5 years old, and is spayed.

Please help us! These cats would all be much happier in their own homes. I can drive these cats to meet you
