If your interested in guitar or bass lessons, or beginner keyboard lessons you've come to the right place. I've spent several years working in the music industry out in California, and I'm currently finishing up a 4-year degree in music and music theory, have taught countless students, and I am up their with the most accomplished players in the Capital Region. Whether your just beginning or you've been playing for years but still wish to learn more, a serious musician, or you just play music as a hobby, my easy-to-understand lessons will benefit you immensely. You will find anything and everything you desire to learn through my lessons, whether your just learning basic chords, or your struggling to learn your favorite musicians solos and/or playing style. You can learn to play any genre of music that interests you, from blues, folk, jazz, rock, slide, metal, pop...to everything in between. You will learn tons of music theory which will help you really understand your instrument beyond simple memorization. Your encouraged to bring in any cd's/music you want to learn as well. Whether your an acoustic player, an electric player, a slide guitarist, bass player, etc. you will find yourself learning valuable knowledge and techniques immediately, and find yourself advancing rapidly with no limit. Beyond that, I offer fantastic insight on how to develop your own style, have a truly non-generic and unique sound, and how to express emotion through your instrument as best you can - something most teachers choose to ignore. For those interested in keyboard note that I only teach beginner to early intermediate level, but if that's your level you will have much to learn.
I have a very flexible schedule, I'm very friendly, easy-going, and extremely easy to learn from. Cheap rates at 20$ per 1/2 hour, 30$ per full hour. For optimal learning, continuous lessons are recommended, however if you find yourself not satisfied after one lesson, you will by no means be obliged to continue.
