Even though we have only had two landlords so far, they both loved us and were sad to see us go. We really are what I hear every landlord say they wish they could find.

We are a young couple in our late 20’s who are looking to re-locate to the Albany area. I have lived in the area for a great deal of my life and am looking to move back to be closer to my family. I’d like to say right up front that we have 2 cats a siamese and a korat. Now having said that, I feel it is necessary to point out that we believe that owning a cat is a privilege not a right. We take care of them as if they were our children. When you come into my house you can not tell that we have a cat let alone two of them until you see them. My current landlord couldn't believe it when he randomly visited. He figured with having two cats it would be stinky and a mess and we surprised him. We keep them very clean so there are no worries about any of that. They are spayed/neutered, up to date with all vaccines and I already have a family vet in Clifton Park that I would be taking them to regularly.

We are in the Boston area right now but have been traveling back and forth in search of solid employment. Once we both have obtained jobs we will start narrowing down our choices for apartments. We are looking for apartments that allow our two cats first and foremost. We paid a lot of money for them in the adoption and medical care that we can't just give them up. They are our responsibility and we can't just turn our back on them. We must have off street parking for two. We have higher end cars in great condition and would like to keep it that way. It's been a long time since either of us had to parallel park. We would like something anywhere from Glenmont to Northern Clifton Park. I pretty much know all of these areas like the back of my hand and I know how easy it is or isn’t to get around. My family live in Clifton Park/Waterford, Brunswick, Troy, Cohoes Hill and Saratoga. I'd like to stay within a quick driving distance since my parents are getting older, one is even retired, and driving will be more difficult for them to visit. We are really great tenants and I have the references to show it. Our first landlord begged us to stay and a week after we moved she called us to see if we hated it and wanted to come back. We help around the house, take care of shoveling or mowing if asked, and since my boyfriend has experience with carpentry and minor plumbing we are always willing to lend a hand to help out. Even though we are renters we treat every place as if it were our own. I believe this is something that is very hard to find nowadays and we take great pride in being the best tenants possible.

In short, all we want is off street parking for two cars (this is mandatory) and be allowed to have our cats. We always pay rent on time, we've never caused a problem, we're quiet and respectable too. Our budget is somewhere between $500 and $900. Since we are relocating which takes a bit of money I don't want to take on too high of a rent and get swamped. If there are any utilities like heat included then we can go higher in rent to make up the difference. If you’d like to discuss in more detail or have questions for me about our motives please feel free to email me. From there we can chat on the phone and possibly meet and view what you have to offer. It’s a short drive and we always can find an excuse to come back one way or the other. Thank you for reading!!
