Capital District Collegiate Entrepreneurial Meetup Group

Entrepreneurship:

Capacity and willingness to undertake conception, organization, and management of a productive venture with all attendant risks, while seeking profit as a reward. In economics, entrepreneurship is regarded as a factor of production together with land, labor, natural resources, and capital. Entrepreneurial spirit is characterized by innovation and risk-taking, and an essential component of a nation's ability to succeed in an ever changing and more competitive global marketplace.

This meetup is primarily designed to provide:

• An open forum of idea sharing

• Periodic, structured, and informative educational opportunities taught by experts in various, relevant fields of business development and management

• Experiences of those successful entrepreneurs who have come before us

Although this meetup is geared towards the richly diverse and talented collegiate student body of the dozen or so colleges and universities in the Capital Region, it is not entirely restrictive to this collection of talented individuals. We welcome the entrepreneurial spirit of all, regardless of educational background – join us and take advantage of the collaborative experiences of all as we make real our dreams of business ownership.

We also welcome those who have gone before us, who have created the business reality that may have once resided in their minds but is now wholly their reality.
