I have a 42" gateway plasma that will not turn on anymore. The main problem seems to be just a fuse. We replaced it once with a very similar fuse and it worked for about a year, I think with the correct fuse it will work, a tv repair place will do this for a low price so this tv will be way cheaper than any other 42".
