Ensure that project operations are in compliance with design drawings and specifications and with College, state, and federal codes, policies and regulations. Inspect for quality of workmanship certifying completion of work for processing contractor invoices.
Ensure that the project progresses on schedule and is completed on time.
Review contracts, purchase orders, and change orders prior to issuance and ensure that project cost remain within budget.
Provide liaison between the project team and other college academic and administrative departments coordinating and sequencing work to minimize disruption of ongoing institutional operations.
Assist College in establishing construction material and systems standards, including those for aesthetics, operational function, durability and maintainability, and evaluate materials and equipment to be used in renovation and construction projects
