This position reports directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing for an international leader in its industry.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the creation and development of automated manufacturing and process machinery design and build. This is a lead technical role that works closely with and provides direction to a team of experienced engineers, technicians, mechanics and machine operators.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering.
Minimum of eight years experience in the design, assembly and development of automation and process control equipment.
In-depth knowledge and experience with PLC control system programming and debug.
Machine Design and Project Management Experience

Proficiency Requirements:
Candidate should have experience creating applications with the following software:

AB PLC (all platforms)
AB Communication Protocols (Ethernet, Controlnet, Devicenet)
Servo Motion (kinetics 6000)
CAD (5000LT, Pro E)
Microsoft Office
